We are returning to South Island
This trip we will go north of Christchurch, towards Marlborough wine country and Hanmer Springs.

- We were comparing SQ direct vs Air NZ Skycouch (transfer at Auckland)

- Price of air fare for 4 tickets jumped $800!
Although Air NZ Skycouch is cheaper than SQ by $286, we would need to transfer at Auckland, this adds about 5 hours into the flight from Singapore to Christchurch. We decided to go with Singapore Airlines direct flights between Singapore and Christchurch.
