2026 Penang International 2nd Bridge Solidarity Fun Ride 2026, Day 4

Dim Sum Breakfast

So excited to have dim sum

CSG2MY coach group will leave Penang this morning. We went with some of them to a nearby dim sum restaurant.

Dim sum was tasty, but rather expensive
Ordered a lot!

Lets Go to the Beach

Ever since Jake rode a jet ski in Langkawi, we didn’t have any chance to do it again till now.

Speed boat to Monkey Beach for AWD

Our first activity is riding AWDs. Took a speedboat ride from Batu Ferringhi Beach to Monkey Beach.

The AWD ride was just the 2 of us and a guide. 20 minutes in the jungle. The AWDs are very run-down, but it was fun nonetheless to be zipping between trees.

After the AWD ride, we had one hour before the speed boat returns to Batu Ferringhi beach. We took the 1233m (one way) jungle hike to Muka Head Lighthouse.

We did a 20 minute jet ski session at Batu Ferringhi Beach. Didn’t take any photos here. But Jake piloted the jetski while Jack rode pillion. It was not as enjoyable as Langkawi island hopping jet ski tour. We just went back an forth about 800m parallel to the beach. We shall try Desaru beach next time as suggested by one of the cyclists.

Gurney Again?

Gurney Plaza is the last of the big Penang malls we havent visit. Jake was surprised that this is a Capitaland managed mall.

Oriental Kopi always got queue

We were wondering where to have our late lunch, and passed by Oriental Kopi. It’s 3:30pm and yet there was a queue. It’s not as long as the ones we see at Mid Valley Southkey, so we chose to eat here

Some tourists, but mostly local crowd
Food was good, as was the price
Jake is happy with Rendang
